Thanks to the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the Downie-Wenjack Fund, and First Nations University Northern Campus, we’re proud to offer a unique mentorship and youth arts experience this summer in Prince Albert.
From July 29th to August 1st, selected facilitators-in-training will participate in a Youth Camp Director Mentorship Program, where they’ll learn how to design, organize, and deliver impactful youth arts camps - from building registration forms and designing posters to creating schedules, icebreakers, and workshops. This training takes place at the First Nations University Northern Campus.
Then, from August 2nd to 5th (9 AM to 4 PM daily), these emerging leaders will put their skills into action by hosting a Youth Arts Camp for ages 12–18, also at the First Nations University Northern Campus. Campers can dive into guitar, ukulele, keyboard, vocals, hip hop, visual arts, beading,…
